Google is teaming up with Walmart to enter the voice-shopping market now dominated by Amazon and its AI virtual assistant Alexa. Starting in September, Google will offer hundreds of thousands of Walmart items on its voice-controlled Google Assistant
Reuter’s reports that Amazon is exploring a pioneering food-prep technology that could create, low-cost, tasty meals that do not require refrigeration. Amazon would deliver the meals, which have a one-year shelf life, directly to customer’s doors.
